Nurai Island

Ever heard of Nurai Island? I never did! But it’s the United Arab Emirates’ hidden treasure. To be more specific the island is a few minutes off the coast of Abu Dhabi. The island and its amenities ooze luxury. As I look at pictures of the island I feel obligated to instantly make reservations for a visit.

Nurai’s residents are located along the ocean line of the island, while restaurants are strategically placed further inland. There three “strands” of water villas, which I’ll admit is my greatest attraction of the island. I really love the concept of dreaming over waves as you sleep.

Upon research finding things to do while visiting Nurai was a bit difficult. However, I wouldn’t make such a big deal out of that… I’d clear my schedule to relax in the AMAZING water villas or roam the beach and enjoy fine dining. There are a select few of fine gems around the world and Nurai Island is definitely not an exception.

Musha Cay, Bahamas

Who knew it was even possible to rent an island and have it all for yourself and 23 of your favorite friends of choice? Well it is and its possible with Musha Cay island. The island is just 150 acres. It caters to 24 individuals at a time with 12 bedrooms. As an added bonus it comes along with 30 servants, talk about feeling like ROYALITY??? The package is all inclusive so you can feel free to eat and drink as much as you’d like. I don’t know a person alive who would turn down such a deal.

As if the deal wasn’t sweet enough you get to take in the beauty of the island for free. Musha Cay is surrounded by white sand beaches and turquoise waters, it’s located in Southern Bahamas. This is an ideal location to indulge in “me time”.

Things to do:
Scuba Diving
Water Skiing
Shelling (a very peaceful adventure, for kids or adults!)
Wind Surfing

These are just a few of the endless options. However, I would opt for lots of R&R while residing on Musha Cay. Enjoy the photos J

Phi Phi Island

Phi Phi island is located nearby Thailand. The beauty of this island simply cannot be described it must be seen! It is the talk among many tourists while visiting Thailand, to no surprise it has been featured in several movies. Phi Phi island is best described as the epitome of serenity.  This secret getaway offers shockingly beautiful beaches. It has also been called one of the world’s most beautiful islands, upon looking at the pictures I uploaded I am quite sure you will agree.

The island is only accessible by boat, this is just the tip of the iceberg of what you’ll experience on your vacation, which I am certain you will want to turn into a “staycation”. The island is an ideal location for a honeymoon, or the perfect getaway for R&R, as it screams relaxation and tranquility. Phi Phi island definitely has a top priority on my bucket list. How about yours?

If I am ever so fortunate to visit Phi Phi I will definitely be visiting the Wana Spa, it overlooks the island from the hillside. Can you imagine receiving a massage while your eyes take a vacation of their own? Now that’s what I call PRICELESS!!!!

P.s I know I don’t have to say enjoy these pictures!!!

The Maldives Islands

The Maldives islands are like a little piece of Heaven on earth. This ultimate creation is made up of 1,190 coral islands that’s wrapped around 26 natural ring like atolls. Of the 1,190 islands 200 of them are inhibited. Any of these islands would make the perfect getaway. The beauty is mind blowing and timeless. Though the islands are isolated, getting to there is easily accessible from countries such as Europe, South East Asia, and the Middle East. One would have to fly into the Male’ International airport, then take a boat or small plane to your final destination. Important tip to remember while visiting is that dressing appropriately is required, as it’s a Muslim country.

As with most islands the activities are diving, water sports, and excursions. However, the Maldives are a popular honeymoon destination. In my research I found a popular hotel, The Hulhule Island Hotel. It is neatly located with a beach front view, you’d literally walk to beach within one minute! Who wouldn’t enjoy such luxury? I definitely would take advantage of such an opportunity and I hope to one day!

St. Barts

St. Barts is actually short for Saint Barthélemy. St. Barts is a little island located among the Leeward Islands. French is the official language spoken on this fun sized paradise that is smaller than most international airports!! St. Barts has even been the lavish escape for celebrities such as Oprah, Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston, Beyonce, and Jay Z. It’s no wonder that these celebrities chose to party here, it’s absolutely stunning.

The island offers 20 gorgeous beaches and daily breath taking sunsets, how could one not want to visit for this reason alone!!!  The activities range from jet skiing, scuba diving, motor yachts, windsurfing, horseback riding, and of course a thriving nightlife.  I’ve decided that I would directly link a website that has tremendous amount of information and beautiful pictures. Taunting Beauty =)

Seychelles

Seychelles is comprised of 115 islands that are off the coast of Africa. A very interesting fact is that 41 of the 115 island make up the oldest mid-oceanic granite islands on the earth! The islands are divided into two groups, with the first being the above mentioned and the second group is made up of Inner Islands that are mainly located within relatively shallow plateaus. Seychelles offers breath taking views and I would LOVE to visit a few of the islands one day.

There are several attractions that one may invest their time into while visiting Seychelles such as:
  • Island hopping
  • Walks & trails
  • Dining out
  • Visit Art galleries
  • Beaches

As being a prominent follower of my blog you probably already know where I would invest my time at, that’s right the BEACH!!! I would not be able to wait to sink my feet into the sand and take a deep breath of fresh air as I relax and thoroughly enjoy myself in the paradise that’s so delicately placed off the coast of Africa.  Hope you enjoy the pictures that I selected to share with the world!

Aruba

When I think of Aruba automatically I think of beaches and Pina coladas. I have been to Aruba once before, but I was a very young teen at the time.  I have family that lives in Aruba and during the vacation one day my cousin took us for a tour all around Aruba. The tour took about 2 hours, unfortunately I fell asleep and missed more than half of the tour. However, from what I saw and remember it was stunning.

There is so much to do when visiting Aruba other than the obviously R&R. One may be interested in visiting the “Natural Pool”, which is pool of water nested among huge rocks near the northeast coast of Aruba. This is a very popular attraction for many tourists and even the locals.

Other attractions are:
  • Butterfly farm
  • Donkey Sanctuary (one may feed and pet the donkeys)
  • Archaeological Museum of Aruba
  • De Palm Island
  • Diving, Swimming, & Snorkeling

Of the attractions that I mentioned, De Palm Island would be my favorite. It’s an island right off of Aruba that has several attractions of its own to enjoy. You would take a ferry over to the island and spend the day doing whatever suits you best.  The ferry fee is all inclusive of food and drinks, so this is also an economic friendly venture. I see it as a vacation away from a vacation. Enjoy my pictures plus an added bonus of a videoJ!
